Continued education is a vital part of any surgeon's career. Hands-on courses, - such as Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for Surgeons, Definitive Surgical Trauma Care (DSTC) - are vital in order to give the bases of hands-on skills and knowledge.
